Dear Terri, I just read about your loss at Dawn's and I know what you are going thru. I lost my husband and best friend too, when my sons were eleven and seven and now they are grown up with families of their own. The LORD will give you what you need when you need it. You know that cold empty feeling in your inside, that was the thing I couldn't handle and had a minister pray that the LORD would take that away and he did. Not that I wasn't so sad and I only ate for my children. Not going to tell you it is easy, but it will get lots better, I promise. I and the boys thanked God for everything we had with my husband, (some people never experience true love in their life, but you and I did), and I prayed to accept God's will and not to get bitter. And that prayer was answered too! Don't try to make sense of why it happened, I can tell you are close to the LORD TOO. Lean on him and trust the word of God. If you ever need to talk to someone, I am a good listener, call me anytime, 641-6825192, I am in Iowa. I also have a little Indian blood in me on my father's side and I have always been proud of it. I grew up in the country and rode my pony before I walked. I am so glad you went to the pow-wow. Your family need you so much. I will keep you in my prayers sweet girl. Wish I could take all your pain away I would gladly do so. I know the sun will shine for you and your husband is looking down on you, and is so proud of you.
